Vaccination and Autism controversy arised again
Still many doctors and scientists believe that there is no link between vaccination and autism, but this story came as an Italian court ruling awarding Valentino Bocca’s parents £140,000 for MMR vaccination shot gone wrong. MMR is a vaccination mixture dose for measles, mumps and rubella which is a very common vaccination shot given to a child around age 1 and second dose given at age 4 or 5. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Institute of Medicine of the National Health Services, the UK National Health Service and Cochrane Library review have concluded that there is no evidence based of MMR vaccination causing autism. In the Bocca’s case, Valentino was not the same child after MMR was administered at the age of 15 months. Valentino is now age 9 and has autism. He cannot speak and only sings to himself.
