Dyverse.org was asked this question so here is the answer to help parents out there who wants to apply for Special Education Needs at ESF. 1. Your child needs to be age 4. Doesn’t matter when your child turn 4. ESF do not accept SEN applications for any child under the age of 4. 2. Fill out expression of interest form – click on this link www.esf.edu.hk/SEN/Admissions and the download form will be at the bottom of the page 3. Wait for Cindy Gazeau to get back to you with an application form. 4. You will need to provide ESF with the filled application form, HKD 150.00 and these:

• current Educational Psychologist’s report with in 12 months
• speech therapist report
• occupational therapist report
• physiotherapy report
• current school reports and
• current IEP from current school

5. Wait for observation date. 6. Step 3 may take awhile. Currently 12 to 36 months wait list. 7. You may also apply mainstream at the same time via the central application.The online application opens up September 1st. www.esf.edu.hk/node/89
